A little about my own sober curious journey

In a society where alcohol consumption is often normalized and even celebrated, many of us have been led to believe that drinking is a necessary part of socializing and coping with life's challenges. For years, I believed that having a few drinks would help me cope and better manage my anxiety and ADHD, but I soon recognized that alcohol only exacerbated my struggles. In 2022 I embarked on a transformative path by significantly reducing, and ultimately eliminating, my alcohol intake. This decision to pursue an alcohol-free lifestyle has profoundly impacted my life, leading to improved hormonal balance, effective weight management, better gut health, enhanced sleep quality, and more effective stress management. I now feel equipped to handle my anxiety and ADHD in healthier ways. As a registered dietitian, I’m passionate about sharing my journey to inspire others who are sober curious and eager to improve their health through nutrition. Together, we can create a vibrant, balanced lifestyle!Â
